Sheikh Mansour and Sheikh Zayed Bring Arabian Horse Show to Brazil
The 7th Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup will be held at the Helvetia Riding Centre in Indaiatuba, near Sao Paulo, Brazil. This event is under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), and the follow-up of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of EAHS.
This tournament is the first EAHGC Show to be held in South America and will feature many Arabian horses from various studs in Brazil, especially from Sao Paulo. The history of Arabian horses in Brazil dates back to 1929, with the first Brazilian Arabian horse born that year. The Brazilian Association of Arabian Horse Breeders was officially recognized in 1964, and the first studbook was created the same year.
The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup was launched last September and includes 10 championships held across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Australia, and the Americas. Valuable cash prizes are awarded to the top five winners of each round. Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad emphasized the importance of the Brazilian event in supporting the EAHGC’s global success and the ongoing support of Sheikh Mansour.
Sheikh Zayed also confirmed that all preparations for the show have been completed to ensure its success. The first show of the 2024 season was held in Australia last February, and Egypt hosted the 6th show from June 27th to 29th, 2024.
