SDRF Searches for Body of Flipkart Delivery Agent Bharat Kumar in Lucknow Canal
In Lucknow, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) is conducting a search operation to recover the body of Bharat Kumar, also known as Ram Milan, a Flipkart delivery agent who was murdered for an iPhone. The SDRF team, led by Sub-Inspector Kumar Saurav Singh, has been working since yesterday, but the swift flow of the canal is making the search difficult.
Prem Kumar, Bharat’s brother, demanded justice, stating, “My brother had gone for delivery of a product. When he demanded the price of the delivered product, the customer killed my brother. My brother should get justice. He was married.”
Bharat Kumar was murdered in the Chinhat police station area, and his body was stuffed in a gunny sack and dumped in Indira Nagar canal. The police have detained a customer named Akash in connection with the incident. DCP East Shashank Singh confirmed that Bharat’s family has been informed and further action is being taken.
During interrogation, Akash confessed that he and his friend Gajanan murdered Bharat and dumped his body in the canal. Bharat had been working as a delivery boy for the past 8 years. The police department is currently investigating the case.
