Sanjay Singh Accuses BJP of Voter List Manipulation in Delhi Elections
In New Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of removing voters' names from the list for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Singh claims this is an attempt by the BJP to win through an "electoral scam." He urged voters to check the list, especially in Arvind Kejriwal's constituency, and called for an investigation by the Election Commission.
AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar also accused BJP leaders of manipulating voter lists and distributing money for votes in various constituencies. She highlighted actions by BJP leaders Vishal Bharadwaj and Parvesh Sharma in the Shadara and New Delhi constituencies, respectively.
Meanwhile, Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva accused AAP of double voting, citing Sanjay Singh's name appearing in multiple voter lists. He also criticized AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal for not addressing local issues like water and road conditions.
As the February 2025 Delhi Assembly elections approach, tensions between AAP and BJP are escalating with mutual allegations.
