New Delhi, India – On Wednesday evening, the world lost a remarkable leader, Ratan Tata, the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi expressed her condolences to his family, highlighting his ethical leadership and dedication to the welfare of the country. She stated, “I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Ratan Tata ji. He exemplified ethical leadership, always placing the welfare of the country and its people above all else. His kindness, humility, and passion for making a difference will be remembered forever.”

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) also paid tribute to the veteran industrialist, stating, “Om Shanti. The demise of the country’s famous industrialist Ratan Tata ji is a very sad moment for the country. May God give a place to Ratan Tata ji’s soul in his holy feet.”

Ratan Tata’s Legacy

Born on December 28, 1937, in Mumbai, Ratan Tata was a prominent businessman and philanthropist. He led Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group, from 1991 until his retirement in 2012. He was also the Chairman of Ratan Tata Trust and Dorabji Tata Trust, two of India’s largest philanthropic trusts. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian honor, in 2008.
