Roads in the Kurram district, including the main road linking Parachinar to other parts of Pakistan, have been closed for 87 days, leading to a humanitarian crisis. Essential goods are scarce, businesses are shut, and medical supplies are lacking, causing severe hardships.
The Kurram peace deal is set to be implemented on January 4, with a convoy traveling to Parachinar under security. The agreement mandates the demolition of bunkers and the collection of arms within 15 days, aiming to restore normalcy.
