Prime Minister Modi Criticizes AAP's Governance in Delhi
In a public meeting at Ashok Vihar's Ramlila Ground, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for its handling of education in Delhi over the past decade. He announced plans for a new college named after Veer Savarkar in Najafgarh and accused the Delhi government of not utilizing central funds for education effectively.
PM Modi also targeted AAP's national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, claiming that Delhi has been plagued by issues under AAP's rule. He urged Delhi voters to oppose what he termed as 'aapda' (disaster) brought by AAP.
Additionally, PM Modi criticized AAP for the pollution in the Yamuna river, accusing them of neglecting the issue for political gain. He alleged that the situation has empowered the tanker mafia, affecting the lives of Delhi residents.
In response, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi countered that the BJP lacks an agenda for the upcoming assembly elections. She claimed that despite being in power at the center for a decade, the BJP has not contributed to Delhi's development and lacks a clear vision or leadership for the city.
