Oil Companies Raise Prices of Commercial LPG Cylinders in New Delhi

On October 1, oil marketing companies announced a price hike for commercial LPG gas cylinders. The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has increased by Rs 48.50, bringing the new cost to Rs 1,740 in New Delhi. Additionally, the price of 5 kg Free Trade LPG cylinders has risen by Rs 12.

This price increase will affect restaurants, hotels, and other commercial establishments that rely on these cylinders for their daily operations. Last month, on September 1, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders was also increased by Rs 39, making the price Rs 1,691.50 at that time.

Despite the rise in commercial LPG prices, domestic LPG cylinder rates have not changed, offering some relief to households. The revised prices are now in effect across the country, impacting the cost structure for many businesses that depend on LPG for cooking and other operational needs. This increase may lead to higher operating costs for these sectors, potentially resulting in higher prices for end consumers.
