Testimony Details

Cross Examination

The Additional Public Prosecutor noted that Nikki’s father was changing his previous statements. During cross-examination, it was revealed that Nikki had confronted Sahil about his marriage plans, leading to a quarrel. Sahil allegedly took Nikki in his car the next morning.

Legal Proceedings

The court has scheduled further cross-examination for November 16. Sahil and five others, including his father, are in custody. The charge sheet includes charges of murder, evidence destruction, and conspiracy. Sahil was arrested on February 14, 2023, and the police allege that he murdered Nikki because she was pressuring him to acknowledge their marriage.
