Indian para-athlete Navdeep secured a silver medal in the men’s javelin F41 final at the Paris Paralympics with a personal best throw of 47.32m. The event took place at the jam-packed Stade de France.

Navdeep started his campaign with a foul attempt but quickly recovered with a personal best throw of 46.39m in his second attempt. He then broke the Paralympic record with a massive 47.32m throw in his third attempt, moving to the top spot. However, Iran’s Sadegh Beit Sayah set a new Paralympic record with a 47.64m throw, pushing Navdeep to second place.
