The Mumbai stock market started the day positively on Tuesday. The Sensex rose by 166.24 points, opening at 77,507.32, while the Nifty increased by 41.55 points, opening at 23,579.40.

Sector Performance

Bank Nifty gained over 200 points, reaching a new all-time high. Sectors such as banks, auto, financial services, media, metal, and pharma opened in green. However, FMCG, IT, and realty sectors opened in red.

The top gainers included Ultratech Cement, HDFC Bank, and SBI.

Overall, market sentiment remains cautious. Technical indicators suggest potential upward movement if key resistance levels are breached, while maintaining a supportive stance at lower levels.

On June 24, the BSE Sensex fell by 346.25 points, opening at 76,863.65, reflecting a 0.45% decline. The NSE Nifty 50 dropped by 99.75 points to 23,401.35, marking a 0.42% decrease.
