Michael Vaughan Predicts Trophy Winning Spree for Rohit Sharma’s Team India if They Win T20 World Cup 2024 Final
New Delhi, India – Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan believes that if Rohit Sharma’s Team India wins the final match of the T20 World Cup 2024, they will start winning many more trophies. The final match will be against South Africa at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday.
Team India, also known as the Men in Blue, is aiming to win their first ICC trophy since the 2013 Champions Trophy and their first T20 World Cup since the 2007 edition in South Africa. Vaughan shared his thoughts on his official X account, praising the quality of Rohit Sharma’s team. He said, “I feel if India get the job done today they are going to go on a trophy winning spree .. they have so much quality in and out of this squad .. Its been 10 yrs since they won a trophy and this one could lead to quite a few over the next years.”
Both South Africa and India have been unbeaten in the 2024 T20 World Cup, showing great performances throughout the tournament. However, their journeys have been different. Team India has dominated all their matches, including against strong teams like Australia, Pakistan, and England. On the other hand, South Africa has had some close calls, narrowly winning against teams like Bangladesh and Nepal. In their last Super 8 game against the West Indies, they almost lost while chasing a revised target of 123.
