On Sunday, Mahendra Gondeea, the Minister of Arts and Culture from Mauritius, visited the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. He expressed his joy after offering prayers at the temple, stating, "I came to Ram Mandir and went to all three places. I did the puja and Ram Mandir is very big. The construction has not been completed yet. But when it is done, I think it will be the best temple in the world." Gondeea mentioned it was his first visit in a year and was pleased to see the temple's development.
However, Gondeea expressed his disappointment about not being able to attend the Maha Kumbh due to urgent commitments in Mauritius. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke about the importance of the upcoming Maha Kumbh 2025. He described it as a unique chance for people worldwide to experience India's cultural and spiritual richness. The event, lasting 45 days from January 13 to February 26, is expected to draw 40 crore visitors, coinciding with a rare celestial alignment occurring after 144 years.
