Johnnie Moore Praises India-US Relations Under Donald Trump

In Davos, Switzerland, Johnnie Moore, who previously served as a spiritual advisor to Donald Trump, expressed optimism about the future of India-US relations under Trump's leadership. Moore, who also held the position of Commissioner at the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, highlighted the strong ties between the two nations during Trump's first term. He believes these ties will continue to strengthen in Trump's second term.

Moore emphasized the unique partnership between the United States, the world's richest democracy, and India, the largest democracy. He stated, "We are a match made on Earth that can impact every problem, every concern, every opportunity can be realized through this partnership."

He also noted the support from the Indian-American community, which voted for Trump in record numbers, and pointed out the significant presence of Indian-Americans in Trump's administration. Moore described Trump's re-election as a "Namaste" from the United States to India.

Moore mentioned the presence of India's External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, at Trump's inauguration ceremony as a sign of the strong relationship between the two countries. He remarked on the limited number of attendees allowed inside the inauguration hall, highlighting the importance of Jaishankar's front-row presence as a representative of Prime Minister Modi.
