New Delhi [India], September 29: JMM MP Mahua Maji recently spoke about the upcoming elections in Jharkhand. She stated that the final decision on seat-sharing between the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress will be made by the party high commands. Maji emphasized that the elections will focus on the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

Maji said, “There has been no final decision on the seats. The final decision will be taken by the High Command.” She confirmed that the elections will be fought in the name of Hemant Soren, who has made significant contributions to the development of Jharkhand. “The public wants the government to stay and wants Hemant Soren to be elected as the Jharkhand CM again,” she added.

Maji also mentioned that the election date will likely be after Durga Puja. She praised Soren’s efforts to empower the people of Jharkhand and expressed confidence that the JMM and the INDIA alliance will win the elections again. The term of the Jharkhand State Assembly is set to expire on January 5, 2025, with elections scheduled for 81 constituencies across the state. The Election Commission of India is yet to announce the dates.
