Beigh stated that the majority of Kashmiris, both Muslim and non-Muslim, are indifferent to Pakistan's observance of this day. He highlighted that even during the intense conflict of the 1990s, Kashmiri Muslims did not support Pakistan's calls for solidarity. Beigh condemned the involvement of religious extremist organizations that collect funds in the name of "Kashmir Jihad" and criticized the Mirpuri Muslim lobby in the UK for influencing British MPs to issue anti-India statements.
Beigh accused Pakistan of misleading its citizens about Kashmir and not acknowledging its role in promoting terrorism and religious extremism in the region. He claimed that Pakistan has established terror training camps in Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) to send terrorists to India's Jammu and Kashmir. Beigh emphasized that Pakistan uses this day to spread hatred against Hindus and the Hindu religion among its people.
