This dialogue follows the August 2024 visit of Malaysia's Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim to India, where the relationship was elevated to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. India and Malaysia have shared a strong relationship since 1957, with deep historical ties and a large community of Persons of Indian Origin in Malaysia.
