In Gujarat, 33.92 lakh high-risk individuals have been mapped, and 4.42 lakh have been screened. Additionally, over 34,000 X-ray examinations have been conducted. The campaign aims to rapidly detect and treat new TB cases, significantly reducing mortality.
The Nikshay Nutrition Yojana provides nutrition kits to TB patients, supported by Nikshay Mitras. The government ensures no patient is left out by distributing kits through NGOs, industries, and social service leaders. So far, 2,706 Nikshay camps have been organized, distributing 3.21 lakh nutrition kits.
