DPIIT partners with Start-up Policy Forum to strengthen India's startup ecosystem
DPIIT and Startup Policy Forum Join Forces for National Startup Week
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has partnered with the Startup Policy Forum (SPF), a prominent industry organization representing India's leading new-age companies. This collaboration was announced by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
SPF Baithak Event
As part of National Startup Week celebrations, the SPF Baithak, a meeting of founders and policymakers, will take place at Bharat Mandapam from January 15-16. This event will serve as a platform to announce new collaborations between DPIIT and SPF members.
Global Engagement and Innovation
SPF will work with DPIIT to organize immersive programs, allowing global investors to engage with Indian startups and witness groundbreaking innovations. Sanjiv, Joint Secretary of DPIIT, emphasized the commitment to fostering a supportive environment for startups to thrive and contribute to India's goal of becoming a global innovation hub by 2047.

Dr. Sumeet Kumar Jarangal, Director of Startup India, highlighted the collaboration's aim to amplify innovation, drive technology adoption, and boost manufacturing capabilities in India. The partnership seeks to promote the Indian startup ecosystem globally and build relationships with international stakeholders.

Shweta Rajpal Kohli, President & CEO of SPF, stated that the alliance reflects the shared aspirations of DPIIT and SPF to build a resilient startup ecosystem. By facilitating collaborations, they aim to ensure India's position on the global innovation map and empower entrepreneurs.
