US President-elect Donald Trump has named Devin Nunes, CEO of Truth Social, as the Chairman of the President's Intelligence Advisory Board. Trump highlighted Nunes' past role as Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and his efforts in revealing Russian interference in the 2016 elections as key reasons for his appointment.
Trump shared on Truth Social, "I am pleased to announce that I will appoint Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes as Chairman of the President's Intelligence Advisory Board, which consists of distinguished citizens from outside of the Federal Government." He added that Nunes will continue his leadership at Trump Media & Technology Group while providing independent assessments of the US Intelligence Community's activities.
