Delhi LG VK Saxena Approves New Electricity Connections for 105 Urbanised Villages and JJ Colonies
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has approved new electricity connections for 105 urbanised villages, JJ colonies, and other areas. This decision, directed by Delhi LG VK Saxena, follows requests from MPs, MLAs, and Resident Welfare Associations.
The approval applies to lands with prior NoC or development plans by government agencies. Earlier, a June 2023 order had restricted new connections, but exemptions were made for certain areas like Lal Dora and PM-UDAY colonies.
