Cracks on Kalka-Shimla Heritage Line Halt Trains, Tourists Disappointed

Train operations on the Kalka-Shimla heritage line were suspended after cracks developed on a railway bridge. Tourists like Mohammad Sultan and Maani expressed disappointment as they had to reschedule their travel plans. Local councillor Virender Thakur mentioned that the railway track had started sliding and requested the DRM Northern Railway to restore services. The Kalka-Shimla railway line, a UNESCO World Heritage site, has faced similar issues in the past, with trains suspended last year from July to October.
