Chhattisgarh CM Helps Reeba Benni Win Silver in Commonwealth Fencing Championship
Reeba Benni’s parents expressed their gratitude to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for providing financial assistance that allowed her to participate in the Commonwealth Fencing Championship in New Zealand, where she won a silver medal. They met the CM during his ‘Jan Darshan’ program at his residence.
According to an official release, Reeba was selected to compete but lacked the necessary funds. The Chief Minister swiftly approved an amount of four lakh rupees to cover her expenses. As a token of appreciation, Reeba’s parents presented the CM with a coconut.
During the ‘Jan Darshan’ program, the CM also heard grievances from citizens, including many differently-abled individuals. Komal Lahre and his wife Gauri, both differently-abled, sought financial support for their children’s education. Sukh Sagar Kevat, another differently-abled person, requested a tricycle, hoping for the same assistance provided in previous programs.
The ‘Jan Darshan’ program remains a vital platform for citizens to communicate their issues directly to the Chief Minister, who is dedicated to addressing their concerns.
