Bomb Threat at Hanumangarh Railway Station: Security Increased, No Suspicious Items Found

On October 1, the station superintendent at Hanumangarh Railway Station received a bomb threat letter. North Western Railway CPRO Captain Shashi Kiran confirmed the incident, stating that police conducted a thorough inspection but found no suspicious materials.

The letter, found in a yellow envelope, threatened to bomb multiple railway stations, including Shri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Kota, Bundi, Udaipur City, and Jaipur, on October 30. The threat mentioned revenge for the deaths of jihadists in Jammu and Kashmir.

In response, Additional SP Pyarelal, Inspector Santlal, and GRP SHO Mohanlal, along with their teams, inspected the Hanumangarh area and platforms. No suspicious items were found. An FIR has been lodged against unknown persons, and security has been increased at all railway stations.

Authorities, including Hanumangarh SSP Pyarelal Meena, are closely monitoring the situation as investigations continue.
