Amit Shah Congratulates NDRF for Successful Mountaineering Expedition and Announces New Allowance

Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the Flag-in ceremony of the NDRF’s Mountaineering Expedition Vijay. He congratulated the NDRF for their successful ‘Parvatarohan’ campaign, stating that such activities can be both a passion and a duty. Shah emphasized that challenging missions help develop a habit of achieving goals and winning.

During his address, Shah announced a 40% increase in the Risk and Hardship Allowance for NDRF personnel, a long-standing demand. He also revealed plans for CAPF teams to participate in national and international competitions.

Shah praised the NDRF, noting that the entire world relies on them during disasters. He highlighted the morale boost provided by NDRF personnel in uniform during adverse situations.
