AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi Criticizes Modi Government Over Jammu Terror Attacks

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], July 16: AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi launched a strong criticism against the central government over the recent increase in terror attacks in Jammu. He questioned the effectiveness of the Modi-led government’s policy of ‘Ghar mein ghus kar marenge’ (attack them in their homes) in light of these events.

Owaisi stated, “PM Modi used to say, ‘Ghar mein ghus kar marenge’. What is this then? This is a failure of the government. They are unable to control terrorism. Whatever has happened in Doda is very dangerous.”

The encounter in the Desa Forest area in Doda on Monday evening resulted in the deaths of Captain Brijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra, and Sepoy Ajay.

Reacting to Jammu and Kashmir DGP RR Swain’s remarks about Pakistan’s infiltration, Owaisi accused the DGP of trying to cover up his failures. He questioned the DGP’s actions and the effectiveness of the government’s information network.

Owaisi also pointed out the high polling percentage in the recent Lok Sabha elections in the Union Territory and questioned the DGP’s statements about infiltration. He highlighted the deaths of over 50 security personnel and 19 civilians in Jammu since 2021, and the recent assassination of 10 pilgrims by terrorists.

Meanwhile, the Congress party criticized the central government by posting a graphic on ‘X’ that claimed nine terrorist attacks had occurred within 38 days of the BJP’s third term, resulting in multiple casualties.
