On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the Indian Army organized a mini-marathon in Digboi, Assam. The event took place on Wednesday and saw the participation of over 150 runners. This initiative aimed to promote health, community development, and the timeless Gandhian values of non-violence.

The participants, who included enthusiastic runners of all age groups, fostered a commitment to unity, peace, and active social engagement. They were classified into two categories: 12-18 years old, who ran a distance of 5 km, and participants over 18 years old, who ran an 11 km distance. This categorization encouraged youth to embrace fitness and community participation from an early age, while also focusing on endurance, health, and camaraderie for the older participants.
