Delhi Police have arrested a 22-year-old transgender individual named Yash, also known as Yashika, in connection with a theft case. The incident involved the theft of Rs 50,000 from an office in Seemapuri on December 23.
The police registered an e-FIR and analyzed footage from over 100 CCTV cameras to identify the suspect. Yashika was arrested on December 28, and a stolen scooter was recovered from their possession, along with Rs 2,500 in cash.
The accused has been previously involved in three other cases and has been handed over to the Investigating Officer for further investigation.
