During the investigation, it was uncovered that Ram Kanojia, one of the accused, was initially approached by fugitive Shubham Lonkar to carry out the murder of Baba Siddique. Kanojia demanded a hefty sum of one crore rupees for the task, aware of the serious consequences of such an act.
However, Lonkar decided against hiring Kanojia and instead recruited shooters from Uttar Pradesh, believing they might not fully grasp Baba Siddique’s prominence in Maharashtra and would accept a lower fee.

A look-out circular has been issued for Shubham Lonkar and two other suspects, Shiv Kumar Gautam and Zeeshan Akhtar, who are suspected of attempting to escape to Nepal. Baba Siddique was tragically shot outside his office and later passed away due to his injuries.
