Women’s T20 World Cup 2024: Australia, India, and More Compete in UAE
The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 has been moved from Bangladesh to the UAE. The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the new fixtures, with matches to be held in Dubai and Sharjah.
Group A Teams
Group A includes six-time champion Australia, 2020 runners-up India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
Group B Teams
Group B features South Africa, England, 2016 champions West Indies, Bangladesh, and Scotland.
Qualified Teams
Sri Lanka and Scotland qualified through the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament held in Abu Dhabi earlier this year.
Tournament Schedule
Each team will play four group matches, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi-finals on October 17 and 18. The final will be held in Dubai on October 20, with a reserve day for both the semi-finals and the final.
