Women Celebrate Raksha Bandhan with Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav in Gwalior
In Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, a group of women tied Rakhi to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav at the Gwalior Airport on Saturday. CM Yadav, in return, presented sweets and sarees to the women. He was in Gwalior to participate in a program after attending another event in Sheopur district.
During the event, CM Yadav transferred Rs 1250 under the Ladli Behna Yojana and Rs 250 as ‘Shagun’ for Raksha Bandhan to the bank accounts of around 1.29 crore women. He expressed his wishes for the love of sisters to remain constant throughout life and emphasized the state government’s continuous efforts towards women empowerment.
CM Yadav also spoke about the upcoming Regional Industry Conclave in Gwalior on August 28, which aims to bring employment-oriented industries to the area. He mentioned that several proposals were received from a recent session on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh held in Bengaluru. Similar conclaves will be organized in Sagar and Rewa divisions to boost employment industries.
The CM highlighted the importance of industries for the state’s progress, covering various sectors from self-help groups to heavy industries. He invited local and outside investors to participate in the Gwalior Regional Industry Conclave, emphasizing the priority for local investors and industrialists.
