Waris Pathan Files Nomination for Bhiwandi West in Maharashtra Elections
Waris Pathan, a candidate from the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), has filed his nomination for the Bhiwandi West seat in the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections scheduled for November 20. Pathan expressed disappointment over the lack of response from the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance, despite efforts to join forces against the BJP. Jaleel highlighted that local issues will be pivotal in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, unlike the Lok Sabha elections.
The Maharashtra Assembly elections will take place on November 20, with results announced on November 23. In previous elections, the BJP and Shiv Sena have been prominent contenders, with the BJP winning 105 seats in 2019 and 122 in 2014.
