The central government has appointed eight Indian Police Service (IPS) officers from Uttarakhand to significant roles for the year 2024-25. This routine deputation process was communicated to the state's Chief Secretary.
Among the appointed officers, IPS Barinder Jeet Singh will join the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), while IPS Senthil Avudai Krishna Raj S is assigned to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). IPS Janmejaya P Kailash will serve at the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
Additionally, IPS Rajiv Swaroop and IPS Arun Mohan Joshi are set to join the Border Security Force (BSF). IPS Mukhtar Mohsin will be part of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), IPS Neeru Garg is appointed to the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), and IPS P Renuka Devi will serve with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
These officers are expected to bring their expertise to enhance the operations of these vital forces.
