Uttarakhand CM Dhami Thanks Governor for Approving Property Damage Recovery Act 2024

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], September 20: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Governor on Thursday for approving the Uttarakhand Public (Government) and Private Property Damage Recovery (Ordinance) Act 2024.

The Chief Minister stated that under this new law, any damage caused to government and private property by rioters can be compensated. Additionally, the expenses incurred by government staff engaged in riot control and other related work will also be reimbursed.

CM Dhami emphasized that no one is allowed to disturb the law and order in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, and this law will be strictly enforced in the state.
