In Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed that this year’s Diwali is unique because, for the first time in many years, Lord Shri Ram is seated in his palace. Speaking at the ‘Diwali Milan with Soldiers’ event in Lansdowne Cantonment, Dhami highlighted the significance of this occasion, marking a 500-year wait for Lord Ram’s return.

Dhami also praised the bravery of soldiers, particularly the Garhwal regiment, for their continuous protection. He extended Diwali greetings, wishing for new energy and positivity for everyone.

In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath echoed similar sentiments, noting that this Diwali is special as it follows the return of Lord Ram to his temple in Ayodhya. After visiting the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Temple, Adityanath emphasized the importance of the Deepotsav celebration, which united society in joy and faith.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also conveyed Diwali wishes, hoping for a healthy, happy, and prosperous life for all. Diwali, known as the ‘Festival of Lights’, symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.
