Union Minister Sanjay Seth Criticizes Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren Over Age Discrepancy
In Ranchi, Union Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, criticized Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren for inconsistencies in his age on nomination papers. Seth claimed that Soren’s age increased by seven years in five years, which he described as “magic” that even astonishes gods.
Seth alleged that this discrepancy amounts to fraud against the Election Commission of India (ECI) and urged the ECI to investigate whether the error occurred in 2019 or 2024. He emphasized that the BJP trusts the ECI and the Constitution, unlike others.
Regarding the Assembly polls, Seth expressed confidence in BJP’s support, stating that the public wants to replace the current government with a BJP-led one. He predicted that the NDA would lead in all six seats in Ranchi.
BJP candidate for the Ranchi seat, CP Singh, also expressed confidence in his victory, noting the public’s enthusiasm for voting for the Lotus symbol. He is actively engaging with residents to ensure no vote is wasted.
