Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu Comments on ED Raids at AAP MP Sanjeev Arora’s Residence

In New Delhi, on October 7, Union Minister of State and BJP leader Ravneet Singh Bittu commented on the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) searches at the residence of AAP MP Sanjeev Arora in Punjab. Bittu described the raids as a “Swachh Bharat” initiative aimed at cleaning up corruption within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He questioned why AAP was upset about the raids, citing the party’s history of corruption involving leaders like Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia.

Bittu stated, “Congress ho ya AAP, Bharat ka Constitution karega usko saaf! This is Swachh Bharat of a different kind, cleaning up corruption, one AAP leader at a time.” Meanwhile, Sanjeev Arora confirmed the searches and expressed his willingness to cooperate with the authorities.

AAP leaders, including Sanjay Singh and Manish Sisodia, criticized the raids, accusing the BJP of fabricating cases against them. Sanjay Singh alleged that the ED targets AAP continuously, while Sisodia claimed that despite numerous raids, no evidence of wrongdoing was found. He accused the BJP of trying to dismantle AAP but asserted that the party would remain steadfast.

The Enforcement Directorate has not yet issued an official statement regarding the search operations.
