Union Minister and Republican Party of India president, Ramdas Athawale, has shown concern for Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi President Prakash Ambedkar’s health. Athawale contacted Ambedkar’s family to inquire about his well-being after Ambedkar was hospitalized in Pune due to chest pain. Fortunately, Ambedkar has been discharged and is recovering well after undergoing an angioplasty.
Athawale plans to visit Pune soon to meet Prakash Ambedkar in person. In the meantime, the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi’s election campaign is being led by state president Rekha Tai Thakur, with support from the Election Coordination Committee, Manifesto Committee, and Media and Research Department. The party is gearing up for the Maharashtra assembly elections scheduled for November 20.
