New Delhi, India – Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh unveiled the results of the 15th round of the Australia-India Strategic Research Fund (AISRF). This fund supports joint research initiatives between India and Australia to address critical challenges and advance scientific knowledge.

About the AISRF

The AISRF is a bilateral program dedicated to fostering collaborative research projects between Australia and India. It aims to enhance the scientific partnership between the two nations and address mutual challenges through joint research endeavors.

Funded Projects

This year, the AISRF has provided funding to five projects in various fields, including:

  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Biotechnology
  • Urban mining and electronic waste recycling
  • Ultra-low-cost solar technologies
  • Clean hydrogen technologies

These projects were chosen through a meticulous evaluation process to ensure they uphold the highest standards of scientific excellence and possess the potential for significant impact.
