Udhayanidhi Stalin Becomes Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu
Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited, congratulated DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin on his appointment as Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Adani praised Udhayanidhi’s dedication and leadership.
Udhayanidhi Stalin, who was previously the Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, will now also handle the portfolio of planning and development. His elevation was celebrated by DMK supporters in Thoothkudi North District.
Udhayanidhi will assume his new role this evening. Meanwhile, DMK leader V Senthil Balaji and three other MLAs, Govi Chezhiaan, R Rajendran, and SM Nasar, were sworn in as ministers in a major reshuffle by Chief Minister MK Stalin. Senthil Balaji will manage electricity and non-conventional energy development, prohibition, and excise. Govi Chezhiaan will be the Minister for Higher Education, R Rajendran the Minister for Tourism, and SM Nasar the Minister for Minorities Welfare and Non-Resident Tamils Welfare.
Udhayanidhi Stalin expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister and emphasized that his new role is an additional responsibility. He wished the new ministers all the best.
