UAE’s Vision for Youth Empowerment: Insights from Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi on International Youth Day

Abu Dhabi [UAE], August 12: Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, highlighted the UAE’s commitment to youth empowerment under the leadership of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He stated that youth are seen as a sustainable wealth to be developed with future skills, aligning with the country’s vision for global competitiveness.

In an interview on International Youth Day, Al Neyadi noted that youth empowerment has been a core principle since the era of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. This year’s celebration is significant as it follows the launch of the ‘National Youth Agenda 2031,’ which aims to make Emirati youth exemplary role models locally and globally.

The agenda has five strategic goals: contributing to national economic growth, adhering to Emirati values, driving global positive change, mastering future skills, and maintaining high health and quality of life standards.

Al Neyadi also discussed this year’s International Youth Day theme, ‘From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,’ emphasizing the UAE’s advancements in digital skills and modern sciences as crucial for future progress.
