Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. They discussed the strong friendship and strategic partnership between the UAE and the US, highlighting the importance of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s recent visit to the US. This visit was praised for enhancing cooperation between the two nations.

Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the deep-rooted friendship between the UAE and the US, which is based on trust, mutual respect, and shared interests. Both leaders are committed to promoting peace and stability globally and regionally.

The meeting also covered regional and international issues, focusing on the Middle East situation and the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. They stressed the need for a ceasefire and civilian protection, and discussed developments in Lebanon.

The meeting was attended by Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, and Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs.
