UAE Sends Aid to Gaza
The United Arab Emirates has successfully sent twelve trucks carrying 150 tonnes of aid to the Gaza Strip. This aid will help 30,000 people and is one of the first shipments since October. The delivery was made possible through cooperation with the American Near East Refugee Aid (Anera).
Commitment to Humanitarian Support
Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organisations, emphasized the UAE’s ongoing commitment to supporting Palestinians. He stated that the UAE has already provided over 40,000 tonnes of aid and will continue to work with the United Nations and international partners to ensure safe and sustainable aid delivery.
