UAE Launches ‘UAE Stands with Lebanon’ Campaign
Under the guidance of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE has initiated a national relief effort named “UAE stands with Lebanon” to support Lebanon amidst ongoing challenges. The UAE, in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO), sent an aircraft from Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai carrying 40 tonnes of urgent medical aid to Lebanon. This is the first flight under the relief campaign, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian efforts and its strong ties with Lebanon.

She emphasized the UAE’s commitment to aiding Lebanon during this crisis, focusing on alleviating suffering and addressing urgent needs, especially for the most vulnerable.
