UAE Citizens Gain Faster Entry to the US with 'Global Entry' Program

The UAE Ministry of Interior has announced that Emirati citizens can now participate in the 'Global Entry' program. This initiative is part of an agreement between the United Arab Emirates and the United States, signed during President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan's visit to the US in September. The program, managed by the US Department of Homeland Security, allows UAE citizens expedited entry into the United States for tourism, business, and personal visits.

Participants in the 'Global Entry' program will benefit from faster processing at designated transit gates in US airports, enhancing their travel experience. This initiative highlights the strong relationship between the UAE and the US and acknowledges the UAE's esteemed reputation. The program simplifies travel procedures for UAE citizens, facilitating smoother entry at over 75 US ports of entry.

To join the program, UAE citizens must apply through the official website and undergo a security background check. They will then be able to use automated verification devices at ports, significantly reducing wait times and paperwork. However, travelers must still have a valid entry visa for the United States.
