UAE and Slovenia Form Joint Business Council

The Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a joint UAE-Slovenian Business Council. This agreement was made during a meeting organized by the UAE Chambers, in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce.

The meeting was attended by Humaid bin Salem, Secretary-General of UAE Chambers, and a high-level Slovenian delegation led by Slobodan Sesum, Director General of Economic and Public Diplomacy at the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Goals and Discussions

The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the UAE and Slovenian business communities. The agenda included developing commercial and investment partnerships, expanding cooperation areas, and opening direct communication channels. The aim is to increase bilateral trade, double imports and exports, and diversify investments in sectors like health, logistics, ICT, e-commerce, tourism, real estate, financial services, and agricultural technology.
