Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha attended a voluntary blood donation campaign organized by the Maharajganja Bazar Fish Traders Association on Mahalaya. He expressed his admiration for the selflessness of the donors, stating, “It was a heartwarming experience to witness the selflessness of the people who came forward to donate blood.”

Earlier, on National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, CM Saha attended another blood donation camp, celebrating the birthday of Dr. Jai Gopal Jolly, the father of Transfusion Medicine in India. He emphasized the importance of blood donation and honored organizations setting examples in this noble cause.

On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, CM Saha participated in multiple blood donation camps, including those at Vivekananda Biyamagar and Ramnagar. He appreciated the overwhelming community response and highlighted the critical role of voluntary blood donation in saving lives. He also praised PM Modi’s initiatives in healthcare, education, and infrastructure, urging support for these programs to drive regional progress.
