On a festive Monday in Agartala, the capital city of Tripura, Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated ten prominent Durga Puja pandals. These pandals were organized by well-known social organizations such as the Green Arrow Club, Yuva Samaj, Blood Mouth Club, Modern Club, and Swami Vivekanand Club.

Chief Minister Saha expressed his joy in participating in the celebrations, highlighting the efforts of these organizations in promoting cultural heritage and unity. These clubs are famous for their grand celebrations and vibrant decorations during the Durga Puja festivities.

Durga Puja, also known as Durgotsava, is a major Hindu festival celebrated annually in honor of Goddess Durga. It symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, commemorating Goddess Durga’s victory over the demon Mahishasura. The festival typically lasts for 10 days, known as Navaratri, with the main celebrations occurring during the last four days: Saptami, Ashtami, Navami, and Vijayadashami.
