Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha Inaugurates Blood Donation Camp

Event Held on National Doctor’s Day and Jagannath Rath Yatra

On Sunday, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated a Blood Donation Camp in Agartala, Tripura. The event was organized by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) at IMA House in Agartala, Tripura Branch.

During the inauguration, Chief Minister Saha praised the doctors, saying, “Doctors always work for people. They engage themselves in the service of people 24×7 from morning to night. Now they themselves are giving blood to save the lives of the poor people. It will send a good message to the society. Doctors not only take blood from others but also donate blood themselves. We are all human. And there must be a mindset to work for people.”

He emphasized the importance of doctors’ responsibilities and their dedication to solving problems at any time, even in the middle of the night. The Chief Minister also thanked the organizers, blood donors, and the team that collected the blood.

Distinguished guests at the event included IMA Tripura Branch President Dr. Sanjeev Debbarma, Secretary Basab Ghosh, State Branch President of Indian Dental Association Dr. SM Ali, Dr. Damodar Chatterjee, and other prominent doctors. Chief Minister Saha handed over certificates to the blood donors.
