Tragic Road Accidents in Balochistan

In Washuk, Balochistan, a severe road accident occurred involving a trailer and a vehicle, resulting in three fatalities and five injuries. The incident took place in the Sarchashma area, with victims from the Baseema region. Four of the injured are in critical condition and have been transferred to Quetta hospital.

Earlier, on October 30, a series of accidents in Balochistan led to 12 deaths and 19 injuries. The most severe accident happened in Washuk's Nag area, where a vehicle carrying Iranian petrol collided with another, causing a fire that left five people dead. In Sibi, a van-truck collision resulted in five deaths and 13 injuries, attributed to overspeeding. Another accident in Noshki involved a wedding party vehicle overturning, killing two people, including a woman.

These incidents highlight the ongoing issues with road safety in Pakistan, as noted in a World Bank report, which points out the country's low density of paved roads and poor infrastructure quality.
