Zakaur Rehman, a 53-year-old member of the Ahmadiyya community, was tragically shot dead by two motorcyclists at his dental clinic in Alipur village near Lalamusa City, Pakistan. The incident occurred on Saturday, and the assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack.

According to the police, Rehman was present in his clinic along the GT Road when the gunmen arrived. One of the attackers entered the clinic and opened fire, hitting Rehman with three bullets in the upper part of his body, causing his immediate death. The local police and a team from the Punjab Forensic Science Agency arrived at the scene to gather evidence.

Gujrat District Police Officer Mustanser Atta Bajwa inspected the site and formed investigation teams to find the suspects. CCTV footage from nearby shops is being used to identify the gunmen, as there were no security cameras inside the clinic.

Jamaat Ahmadiyya Pakistan has condemned the killing, noting a rise in attacks on the Ahmadiyya community following a Supreme Court decision to release a community member on bail. Rehman, who was an official of the local Jamaat chapter, is survived by his widow, a son, and three daughters.
